I listened the Death and the Red Headed Woman on audible. I loved it! Amanda Ronconi was a perfect choice for narrator. My favorites are Charlaine Harris, Molly Harper, Diane Mott Davidson, Ann George and a few others. I love character driven mysteries with romance. Please write more. It’s been a while since I’ve come across a book this good.

I completely agree. Loretta Ross is now among my favorite mystery authors which include Spencer Quinn, Karen Cantwell, E. J. Copperman, Sarah Graves, and Craig Johnson, among others I can’t recall at the moment. Great characters and pacing. Never a dull moment! Ditto on Amanda Ronconi. She’s the perfect narrator for these books.

Thank you for having a Veteran with PTSD in a non-depressing story. I too am a Veteran with PTSD and do not enjoy all the “How to Live with PTSD” crap. They are all depressing. You incorporated into the story but was a side issue instead of the main one. I listen to my books, in part due to my PTSD and lack of concentration to read. I used to be a voracious reader and now I can enjoy books again as audible ones. Thank you once again for the light hearted mystery, I thourghly enjoyed it. Please don’t make me wait too long for your next Death and Wren story!

    • Hi, Sonia!
Thank you for your kind comments. I’m glad that you were able to listen to my book and that you enjoyed it. Amanda Ronconi (the narrator) is fantastic, isn’t she? I was very lucky that she was chosen to read it.

There will be at least two more books in this series. The second one is already written and the publisher has it. It’s called Death and the Brewmaster’s Widow and I believe it will be out next February.

Thank you even more so, thank you to infinity, for your service to our country. Please know that you and your fellow veterans have my deepest respect.

      Have a great day!
